อาจารย์อรุณกร ชัยสุบรรณ์กนก ทรอมโบน

อรุณกร เริ่มเล่นนดนตรีจากวงดุริยางค์โรงเรียนวัดสุทธิวราราม ในปี พ.ศ. 2525 เขาได้เข้าร่วมการอบรม เชิงปฏิบัติการ และแสดงคอนเสิร์ตกับโปรเฟสเซอร์ เปอ เกด อาจารย์สอนทรอมโบนชาวเดนมาร์ค ซึ่งเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เขาหันมาเรียนดนตรีอย่างจริงจัง ที่โรงเรียนวัดสุทธิวราราม

เขาได้ศึกษาทฤษฎีดนตรี การประสานเสียง ประวัติศาสตร์ดนตรีและ การซ้อมวงแบนด์จากอาจารย์สุรพล ไพโรจน์ธนชัย พ.ศ.2528 อรุณกรได้รับโอกาสแสดงเดี่ยวทรอมโบนกับวงดุริยางค์โรงเรียนวัดสุทธิวรารามนั่นเป็นการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตครั้งแรกของวง และเป็นการแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งแรกในชีวิตของเขาเช่นกัน

อรุณกรเข้าศึกษาต่อที่คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (วิชาเอกการแสดงดนตรี) โดยศึกษากับอาจารย์อนุพงษ์ อมาตยกุล หลังจากนั้น เขาได้รับทุนให้ไปศึกษาต่อที่ Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (Advance Diploma) เขาได้รับความรู้และประสบการณ์จากอาจารย์หลายๆท่าน อาทิ William Damron, Simone De Hann, Ronald Smart, John Swallow และ Michel Tilkin

ใน พ.ศ.2533 และ 2534 อรุณกรได้รับคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมวงดุริยางค์เยาวชนแห่งเอเชีย (Asian Youth Orchestra) ควบคุมวงโดย Sir Yehudi Menuhin อรุณกรเป็นสมาชิกวงรอยัลแบงค์คอกซิมโฟนีออร์เคสตราตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ. 2530 ปัจจุบันเป็นอาจารย์สอนแผนกเครื่องเป่า วิทยาลัยดนตรีมหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต

Arunkorn Chaisubunkanok, Trombone

Arunkorn started his music career from Suthiwararam Marching Band. From then on, he decided a career in music after attending Interactive Seminar “Brass Workshop” by Prof. Per Gade. He also received additional guidances from Prof. Surapol Pirojthanachai.

He studied Music in Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University. He studied trombone with Prof. Anupong Amatayakul. After his graduation in 1989, he studied with many talented teachers such as William Damron, Simone de Hann, Ronald Smart, John Swallow and Michel Tilkin. He also performed with the First and Second “Asian Youth Orchestra” in Kumamoto, Japan. On the first time, he played under the baton of Sir Yehudi Menuhin.

He has worked with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) since 1987. At present, Arunkorn is an instructor at Rungsit Conservatory of Music and free-lance musician who worked with many bands and orchestras.
